Massive Friends Cut

I've been thinking about it for awhile, since I have become increasingly uncomfortable about the fact that I post about very personal things in this journal and there are so many people reading, some of whom I barely know. I'm finally getting around to doing it.

If I cut you it's for one of three reasons:

a) You never post anymore
b) You never respond to my posts/my responses to your posts
c) I just feel that our paths have gone in separate directions

I would understand if you cut me, although I will miss your posts...I just don't have all that much to say lately..my days are pretty much, for the most part, the same...I get up , take kids to school, chase the Tomster around, go pick up kids..make dinner and put them to bed..sure, there is stuff in between..but not a whole lot..and I do get on LJ to see what's going on in my lj friend's lives..it's weird this whole internet connection, I feel that I know you even though we have never and probably will never meet. I sympathize with you when you are sad or upset or even angry and I am happy for you when you have accomplished your goals or watching little Wyn grow up...I find myself shaking my head in agreement when you post about Drama because I am going through some of the same phases with my pre-teens. And I pray for you when you need it. I may not always comment, nor post on a regular basis, but I can't think of one time that I have seen one of your posts and skipped over it. But, like I said, we have never met and probably will never meet in real life, and if you feel more comforable shortening your friend's list, then that is totally understandable. For me, lj is sometimes just a place to vent, and although the comments do help, it's sometimes better just to write it out and leave it there, ya know? Hope you have a good weekend!

I'm sorry to see that I didn't make the cut. I will miss your posts. I will keep your family in my prayers and I hope that everything works out with your hubby and his Job, and that you continue to enjoy your new career path. I will continue to pray for the situation with Drama, as you are currently living one of my worse fears. If you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate knowing the homestudy results and if you get custody. I was just thinking about the post you made in parenting101 about your daughters appetite and lack of weight gain...

Hi! Thanks for checking back. We just got the results of my cystic fibrosis screen (to see if I'm a carrier) back and it was negative, so there is very little chance at all that CF is the reason she is so tiny.

She's still constantly hungry and teeny-tiny, but we've ruled out two medical causes (the CF and an immune deficiency). She has her 2 year appointment beginning of November, and I'll talk to him then to see if there are any additional items he wants to look at (e.g. overactive thyroid, etc.) but my guess is she's just naturally small. It does run in the family!

I'm so glad to hear that it's not CF! If you aren't a carrier, she doesn't have CF - you have to inherit a mutation from each parent.

I hope you can find a cause soon... I remember how frustrating it was when Dylan was so small but eating like a horse.

Hey Betty! I don't think you remember me, but we actually talked on HPN and then on LJ for a while before I completely stopped posting and you made the cut! I'm just writing because I happend to stumble upon yur new icon when I was reading my old journal entries and was SO HAPPY to see that you seem to be doing great and that you have a brand new little girl!

I really miss your stories and getting your comments after my rants. So I thought I'd stop by and say a quick 'hi' and wish you all the best! I never said anything when you made the cut because...well, your journal was pretty personal and I thought I deserved to be cut, seeing as how I'd stopped sharing.
